We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting travel assignment in Erie, Pennsylvania . This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected hospital system right on the shores of Lake Erie while advancing your clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Position : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location : Erie, PA

Setting : Acute Care Hospital

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Shift : Nights or days depending on facility availability

Job Requirements

Provide prehensive respiratory care to patients in acute and critical care settings

Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and document care accurately

Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, CPAP / BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment

Administer respiratory treatments and aerosolized medications

Assist with airway management, including intubation support

Participate in rapid responses and code situations

Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of respiratory equipment

Needed Qualifications

Active RRT credential through the NBRC

Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or hospital experience

BLS required; ACLS preferred

Strong critical care and ventilator management experience highly preferred

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments

Assignment Details

13-week contract with potential extensions

Night or day shifts available depending on facility needs
