Tax Director

Kforce's client, growing regional public accounting firm in Parsippany, NJ, seeks a Tax Director. This role reports to the Tax Partners. • Review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Review of high net worth individual returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Train staff on new tax codes
• Create marketing materials for new tax codes
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Training and supervision of staff
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA is a must
• 12+ years of public accounting tax experience including tax return preparation and review for business entities & individuals and tax research.
• Expected to have good communication skills and correspond both orally and in writing with clients and tax authorities
• Experience managing & mentoring staff

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
