About The Role

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all manufacturing equipment across SMT, DIP, assembly, and testing processes. This includes installation, commissioning, maintenance, and timely resolution of equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the installation and commissioning of new SMT, DIP, assembly, and testing equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for all assigned equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment to ensure continuous and normal operation.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance data.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize equipment performance and support process improvements.
• Train production and maintenance technicians on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and capability.
• Ensure all equipment operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.
