Licensed Triage Counselor

A company is looking for a Triage Counselor I to provide telephonic and chat support to participants through triage, assessment, consultation, education, referrals, and non-medical counseling.

Key Responsibilities

Provide participant intake triage and crisis intervention services, linking to appropriate resources

Deliver education regarding EAP benefits and may provide non-medical counseling to eligible participants

Maintain documentation and adhere to performance standards and contract requirements

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in behavioral health or a related field

Independent level licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC)

At least 2 years of clinical experience post-degree

Ability to manage caseload and documentation per standard operating procedures

Experience with technology applications relevant to the role
