Licensed Texas PE Excellent written and communication skills and strong math and science skills Valid Texas Drivers License with no history of accidents or alcohol / drug related traffic offenses and valid right to work documents Excellence Dependable / Punctual Mutual Respect / Likable Integrity Care / Listening Resourceful / Takes Initiative Analysis Skills Organization / Planning Team Player Communicator Ambitious While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear, and to utilize a computer and software applications such as Microsoft Office. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; drive; use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds and / or move up to 40 pounds. Mission / Position Description Summary
The mission of a Construction Materials Project Engineer for HVJ, a leading specialty engineering firm in Texas, is to support the project manager or other staff as directed to assure client satisfaction through preparation of detailed calculations, performing engineering analyses, and completing field assignments.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects meeting HVJ SCTX financial goals and quality standards
- Provide project deliverables on schedule and within budget
- Develop proposal for future work
- Guide / Mentor junior staff
- Provide client satisfaction
- Assist with Business Development
