Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing stock. Duties and responsibilities include receiving, placing and loading incoming / outgoing stock which requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50lbs unassisted (maximum), 51+lbs assisted on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day. Verify receiving / shipping documents and accurate product counts. Operate packaging and material movement equipment. Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education and Experience : Education Requirements : High School or GED Years of Experience : Experience in warehouse environment preferred. Skills : Education and / or Experience - High school diploma / GED equivalent. Experience in warehouse environment preferred. Understand product description, SKU and PO numbers. Basic mathematic skills to include an understanding of geometry in order to build stable pallets. Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing.

Physical Requirements : Standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day. Grasping, pushing, and pulling of materials on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day. Reaching and working above and below the shoulder level on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day. Ability to safely team lift, lower, and move items up to 50lbs unassisted (maximum), 51+lbs assisted over the course of a work day. Sit or stand continuously for up to twelve hours per day. Must be comfortable working with and around forklifts, conveyer systems, scissor lifts, and hazardous machinery. Must be comfortable with performing many of the tasks listed above from a ladder up to fifteen feet in elevation above the floor surface observing safety controls. Must utilize proper safety controls at all times. Must be able to drive automobiles, forklifts and scissor lifts.

The anticipated rate for this position is $22.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
