Overview :

• Ability to work independently / under limited supervision. Applies advanced knowledge of job acquired through relevant and substantial work experience.
• Technical knowledge in but not limited to Integrated Avionics, Payload, Motor Controls, Solid State Recorders. May direct the work of other lower-level professionals in the context of a project, process, or program.
• Majority of time is spent overseeing technical design, implementation, or delivery of projects, processes, or programs using technical skills acquired through advanced education or equivalent work experience.
• Focused on selling technical products and leading post-sale product installations / configurations including preparing and conducting technical sales briefings for customers, researching customer technical specifications and estimating the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the product or solution.
• Knowledge in leading post-sale product configuration and designing custom solutions in accordance with customer specifications; diagnosing malfunctions of complex devices / equipment / systems and directing / overseeing repair work performed by engineering technicians; and conducting technical user training and product briefings with customers.

Responsible for engineering and technical operations of the organization and managing or performing research and development. Activities include undertaking research, design, and development activities to improve the organization's products and services; designing, constructing, testing, and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications; developing and testing theories on the properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions; and scientific research or quality testing in a laboratory environment.
