POSITION SUMMARY
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing on-site behavioral assessment, plan development, consultation, and training across CSAAC’s adult residential and vocational programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (or higher) education; Must hold active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) national certification, and Behavior Analyst License in the State of Maryland (LBA), with knowledge in the field of autism.
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing services as BCBA for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Skills : Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise patience, care, ethics, and concern in new and sometimes stressful situations. Computer literacy required, with proficiency in standard business software applications (i.e., word processing, e-mail and spreadsheets).
NATURE AND SCOPE
REQUIRED TRAINING / PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
Must be an active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in active, good standing. Should hold an active Maryland State License as Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or be eligible for MD LBA upon hire. BCBA is required to maintain active certification and licensure throughout career at CSAAC.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
