Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a contract Payroll Administrator to join their team! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $32 to $41 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Process new hire paperwork, setting up employees with proper union craft and class
  • Manual and software upload integrations to enter time data into accounting / payroll software (Vista, Viewpoint system)
  • Follow up with timekeepers to ensure accuracy; research and resolve discrepancies
  • All other timekeeping / data entries for weekly payroll processing, including garnishment and loan deductions
  • Assist in sorting, printing and mailing of weekly payroll checks, direct deposit paystubs and employee communications
  • Monthly union reports and payment processing
  • Certified Payroll reports and Fringe Benefits

Qualifications

  • Union payroll experience; 1 year
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
