Knowledge Road is looking for a full-time Licensed Psychologist to become part of our team and deliver essential psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. As a Licensed Psychologist with Knowledge Road, you will enjoy the autonomy to provide individualized interventions, partnering collaboratively with school teams and families to advance student mental health and academic achievement.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students, as required by their Individualized Education Service Programs / Individualized Education Programs (IESP / IEP).
Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and complex psychological conditions.
Perform psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations.
Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student.
Partner closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to build a holistic and supportive learning environment.
Keep meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in alignment with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards.
Take an active role in IESP / IEP meetings, contributing expert psychological insights and recommendations to support student progress and educational planning.
Qualifications
NYS license as a Licensed Psychologist.
Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to children and adolescents.
Competence with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms.
NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to complete prior to start.
Preferred :
Experience in a school-based setting or educational environment.
Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy).
Experience with psychological assessment and testing.

We are currently hiring for the following full-time Licensed Psychologist positions in Brooklyn.
Schedule & Location :
This is a full-time, school-day position with a schedule that aligns with the NYC DOE calendar. You will provide services on-site at one or more schools in Brooklyn, with assignments determined by student needs. Hours / week are based on IESP / IEP mandates; caseload may fluctuate by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours / week depending on placements.
Compensation
$75 / hr (1099).
