Carrier Sales Specialist (Bilingual English/Korean)

Responsibilities

• Build new and manage existing carrier base
• Negotiate fair rates with carriers to ensure on-time pickup to meet on-time delivery set by customer
• On board new carriers using proprietary tools and in house vetting process
• Utilize proprietary tools to find carriers to move customer shipments to include internal and external load boards
• Send rate confirmations to carriers
• Identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best solution
• Be on-call on holidays, weekends, and after traditional office hours (this time will be split between team)
• Other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Looking for someone who is business-minded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, proficient negotiating skills, and analytical skills.
• Possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a logistics broker (full cradle to grave)
• Established customer and carrier relationships preferred (not required)
• Driven and competitive nature
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Work independently and as a part of a team
