Job Title : Project Engineer - Civil Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and support civil projects, including land development and solid waste management. The role involves preparing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications, and serving as the Engineer of Record for projects primarily in the South Florida market.

Responsibilities

• Apply extensive knowledge of engineering and scientific principles in civil engineering.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.
• Work independently on engineering problems, plan and coordinate work, and represent the company at meetings and conferences.
• Conduct fieldwork in varied terrains and weather, including surveys, data gathering, and inspections.
• Perform office-based tasks such as CAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, and creating site plans.
• Engage in business development activities, including proposal preparation and attending industry conferences.
• Receive technical guidance on complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coconut Creek, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $60.10 / hr.
