American National is currently seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Engineer II to join our team, ensuring our facilities are in top condition. This role requires a proactive professional with a knack for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems.

• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.

• Manage maintenance projects, including contractor oversight.

• Maintain records of maintenance work and equipment inventory.

• Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and conduct routine tests.

• Monitor energy usage and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications:

Education: A two-year trade school certificate in relevant fields (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is preferred.
Experience: Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer, with advanced knowledge of mechanical systems.
Certifications: Relevant state/local licenses (stationary engineering, HVAC) and OSHA/ACM awareness training.
Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot complex systems, and perform hands-on repairs.
Communication: Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, occupants, and external partners.
