Position Overview
The Outlets Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Outlets Operations management team in overseeing the operations and staff in the Marriott Cleveland Downtown at Key Tower Outlets Department to maintain the highest level of standards and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include monitoring food quality and level of service in the Greatroom dining room completing tasks assigned to them by management, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and assisting in maintaining a smooth operation across the Outlets.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Inspect and manage the standard of grooming and attire of staff. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Monitoring food quality and service standards in the Greatroom dining room, Pantry, M Club, as well as hotel room service and delivery to Key Tower.
- Complete opening and closing duties as needed.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory of dry goods and alcohol, manage physical storage spaces, pars and requisitions as needed.
- Monitor dining room for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
- Moniter equipment is working properly and safely, entering work orders for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Assist Outlets management in training, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Serve as a role model of hotel standards, and a first point of contact for colleagues and guests.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager; and complete safety training and certifications as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Familiarize yourself and team with Marriott Brand Standards, establishing and upholding those standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and / or cost-savings.

Required Education and Experience
At least 2 years of related experience required.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently (and in a team).Work Conditions & Physical Demands
