Loss Mitigation Liaison

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for mortgage loan borrowers exploring loss mitigation options or facing foreclosure

Collect consumer financial information, assist borrowers with loss mitigation documents, and communicate the terms of approvals or declines

Provide mentorship to new hires and assist management with projects and training

Required Qualifications

A combined 5 years of higher education and / or work experience, including 2 years of collections or customer service experience with 1 year as a SPOC

Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software

Experience in mortgage collections is preferred

Knowledge of relevant systems is advantageous

A Bachelor's degree is preferred
