About the Role :

Upper Marlboro Ford is seeking a reliable and motivated  Lot Attendant / Porter  to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our dealership’s vehicle inventory and ensuring every customer enjoys an excellent experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Organize and arrange vehicles on the dealership lot for optimal display and accessibility.

Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentable for customers and staff.

Perform regular inspections for vehicle damage or maintenance needs.

Move vehicles between service, sales, and other dealership areas safely and efficiently.

Assist with customer vehicle deliveries and dealership DX pick-ups and drop-offs.

Check in new vehicle deliveries, apply dealership tags, stock number stickers, sale signs, and decals.

Maintain accurate key check-in and check-out procedures —  no exceptions  to key security policies.

Support lot appearance by clearing debris and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.

Drive vehicles to and from the wash bay and assist the service and sales departments as needed.

Follow all dealership safety policies and maintain professional conduct on-site.

Requirements :

Valid driver’s license with a  clean driving record .

Must pass a  drug test  prior to employment.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to drive and park vehicles safely in tight spaces.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Professional appearance and adherence to dealership dress code.

Dress Code :

No slippers, Crocs, or house shoes while on duty.

No jeans with rips or holes.

Must wear  Ford-branded attire  or dealership-approved uniform.

Adhere to dealership lot speed limit ( 5 mph ).
