Inventory & Production Planner

They are seeking a proactive Inventory & Production Planner to join their Operations team. This role is crucial in maintaining optimal inventory levels, aligning production with demand forecasts, and supporting smooth fulfillment that drives continued business growth.
What You'll Do
Inventory & Production Scheduling
- Convert demand forecasts into production schedules aligned with lead times and sales goals
- Monitor and replenish finished goods inventory across all sales channels to prevent stockouts or overstock
- Trigger, track, and manage production orders with contract manufacturers
SKU & BOM Management
Create and maintain SKUs for new products and bundles across systems and platformsSet up and maintain BOMs, incorporating formulation updates, tariffs, and import fees into costingInventory Optimization & Control
Maintain accurate inventory records and partner with warehouse teams to resolve discrepanciesTrack lot numbers and product expiry to reduce aging inventory riskMonitor channel-specific sales velocity and adjust production timing as neededOrder & Fulfillment Monitoring
Manage backorders and ensure timely replenishment based on inbound shipmentsMonitor unfulfillable inventory and execute corrective actionsOversee unfulfilled customer orders and escalate to warehouse when requiredAnticipate subscription fulfillment risks and proactively implement solutionsReporting & Analysis
Create dashboards and reports on inventory health, production schedules, and sales trendsAnalyze historical demand data to improve forecast accuracy and planning modelsProcess Improvement & Systems
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and inventory trackingSupport implementation of tools and automation to enhance forecasting and reporting capabilitiesCross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with marketing for product launches and promotional campaignsWork closely with operations, warehouse, and logistics teams to align planning with fulfillment capacityAdditional Support
Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed to support operational goals
