Position Summary
VersAbility Resources seeks a strategic and hands-on Recruiting and Integration Manager to lead our talent acquisition function. This leader will manage a team of two recruiters, own the recruiting strategy, and drive full cycle hiring across the organization, with a focus on high-volume hiring for community living and direct support roles. Responsibilities
- \tLead full-cycle recruitment for a broad range of roles, with primary emphasis on high-volume community living and direct support positions, as well as professional and administrative roles.
- \tSupervise, coach, and set goals for a team of two recruiters. Provide daily guidance, remove barriers, and support professional development.
- \tDesign, document, and continuously improve a simple, repeatable recruiting operating model covering requisition intake, intake meetings, sourcing plans, interview structure, reference checks, offers, and onboarding handoffs.
- \tPartner with program leaders on workforce planning. Translate staffing needs into sourcing plans, timelines, and service-level expectations. Facilitate regular pipeline review sessions with hiring managers and recruiters.
- \tBuild and maintain high-yield sourcing channels for Direct Support Professional and community living roles through community partnerships, workforce boards, colleges, targeted job boards, and referral programs.
- \tCreate and maintain job posting templates, intake forms, structured interview guides, and decision scorecards. Ensure a consistent, equitable, and policy-aligned hiring process.
- \tDefine recruiting KPIs (such as time to fill, time to slate, offer acceptance rate, 90-day retention, hiring manager satisfaction, requisition aging, and source of hire), publish regular dashboards, and use data to identify bottlenecks and improve speed and quality.
- \tAdminister and improve the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Build stages, templates, workflows, and automations. Train hiring managers and recruiters on system use and best practices.
- \tOversee HR recruiting technology and integrations, including the ATS and HR information system (HRIS). Configure workflows and user access, coordinate upgrades and releases, maintain data integrity and security, and troubleshoot issues in partnership with IT and vendors.
- \tCollaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to ensure recruiting systems, integrations, and reporting support accurate headcount, budgeting, compliance, and leadership decision-making.
- \tDevelop targeted outreach, employer branding, and community-based sourcing campaigns that reflect VersAbility's mission and expand talent pools.
- \tEnsure compliance with applicable laws and policies, including EEO, ADA, FCRA for background checks, and I-9 requirements.
- \tChampion a positive, respectful candidate experience and a strong employer brand in every interaction.
- \tThis role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and facilitating training for frontline managers on a standardized interview protocol and accompanying interview manual to ensure effective and consistent hiring practices.
- \tThis position leads the recruitment strategy and oversees all recruitment efforts for Community Living, ensuring alignment with workforce needs, quality standards, and organizational goals.
- \tThis position serves as the data manager for Human Resources employee census and demographic data, and develops reports related to recruitment outcomes and workforce composition to inform hiring strategies and staffing decisions.
- \tThis role collaborates with Payroll, Benefits, and Training teams to enhance HR technology systems, ensuring seamless integration, streamlined workflows, accurate data management, and effective onboarding as well as departmental transitions for new employees.
- \tPerforms other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
\tBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\tFive or more years of recruiting experience, including at least two years in a lead or manager capacity.\tExperience in nonprofit or human services recruiting, including high-volume hiring for Direct Support Professional or similar roles.\tDemonstrated ability to design and run a structured recruiting process and to build KPIs and reporting.\tStrong command of an Applicant Tracking System. Paychex ATS experience is preferred.\tExperience working with HR information systems or HR data and reporting tools.\tClear communicator who can influence and coach hiring managers and partner well across functions.\tStrong organization and follow-through with comfort handling competing priorities in a mission-driven environment.\tWorking knowledge of recruiting compliance and fair hiring practices.Preferred Qualifications
\tPHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification.\tExperience with high-volume community living programs, disability services, or healthcare.\tFamiliarity with affirmative action and related federal contractor obligations.\tExperience supporting or implementing HR systems, integrations, or HR analytics is a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer
