Overview

Environmental Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Job 1807. We are recruiting for a full-time Environmental Engineer position as an employee of our EHS Consulting client in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The position is a hybrid that requires being on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL regularly. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the management and overall direction and oversight of Environmental programs, strategy, and staff activities along with related organizational performance standards to support the facility.

Minimum Requirements

• Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management or related discipline
• Five (5) or more years of Environmental project experience including, but not limited to Phase I and Phase II, SPPP, RAP, etc.
• Professional Certification (PE, PG, REM, CEM, CEP, CPEA, EIT, CSP, CIH etc.) from a nationally recognized organization
• Additional Preferred (not required) Competencies : Experience with Florida State regulations
• Demonstrated success in EHS Consulting settings
• 8+ Environmental management experience in EHS Consulting
• Possess a transferable book of business
