Social Worker

Free to Be Programs is seeking to hire a full-time social worker in the Antelope Valley to provide services to families serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Social workers will be assigned to provide case management and support services to specific families within the agency. Social workers will complete required tasks for each of their assigned families. Job duties will include conducting home visits, attending monthly behavior consultation meetings, attending quarterly case management meetings, attending supervision and training, monitoring files, interacting with individuals with disabilities, ensuring families provide all mandated services and meet all regulatory requirements, as well as helping families access services and supports for the individuals served in the community.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as
psychology, social work, applied behavior analysis, or education.
OR
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with
individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Case management experience preferred
• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
• Fingerprint clearance (DOJ, FBI).
• DDS clearance letter
• Health screening and TB clearance.
• Must have own vehicle to perform job duties
• Good driving record
• Maintain current car insurance
• Good people and social skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Office
• Speak and write fluently in English
• Bilingual preferred - Spanish
