Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Mukilteo, WA 98275. This is a 3+ months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 3+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Pay rate : $25-29 / hr. On W2 / Pay Rate is based on experience.

Schedule : Typically, 6 : 45 am to 5 : 45 pm / Mon – Fri (4 days / wk. & Thursdays off) – Subject to change depending on Clinic scheduling needs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Deliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic interactions for exams, treatments, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures.
• Collect and document patient information including vital signs, chief complaint, medications, allergies, health risk screening details, and extended care benefit status.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures as directed.
• Coordinate patient care in alignment with provider instructions, organizational standards, and clinic policies.
• Manage tasks, phone calls, and messages, ensuring accurate documentation of actions taken.
• Maintain proper, concise, and complete EMR and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.
• Prepare, clean, and restock patient rooms; set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while adhering to infection-control standards.
