Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tax Manager role located in Westbury, NY. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns, managing tax filing processes, and implementing tax planning strategies. You will collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Additionally, the Tax Manager will advise clients on financial and tax matters, monitor industry changes, and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Financial Statements and Accounting practices
• Experience in Tax Preparation and compliance for individuals and corporate entities.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
• Solid foundation in Finance and Accounting principles
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus
• Familiarity with tax software and financial tools preferably CCH Pro Systems
