Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy of orders, preparing shipping documents, and processing shipments
Work with transportation providers to arrange shipments, manage transportation costs, and optimize routes
Support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials
Facilitate communication between different departments, including production, procurement, and distribution, to ensure smooth workflow
Address issues related to shipments, delivery delays, or inventory shortages
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations related to transportation and warehousing
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Some prior work experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented and desire for accuracy
Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
Preferred : Some experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation
General understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and warehousing operations
Experience with international shippingDCAA government audit experienceAbility to obtain DoD Secret clearance
