Pay Range : $35 - $40 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Quality Engineer I” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Position Overview

The Quality Engineer I provides Process and Quality Engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role also supports product development teams to help ensure new products meet established quality standards. The position operates within a regulated quality system environment and requires adherence to corporate and divisional policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing in identifying and addressing process defects, including scrap, nonconforming materials, and customer complaints.
• Assist in root cause investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review and interpret product specifications, quality plans, and system documentation.
• Support risk management activities, including participation in FMEAs and risk analyses.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to understand critical process steps and methods for reducing variation.
• Analyze quality metrics and assist with product and process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize quality tools and training materials to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Work closely with process owners to document product holds, release criteria, and quality decisions.
