Job Summary : The Patient Care Coordinator / Scheduler should be a dependable, upbeat, and positive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The individual must be a quick learner who demonstrates strong teamwork abilities and can multitask effectively.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties :
As a PCC, you will be a part of the staffing department. You will be responsible for tasks such as, but not limited to :
- Staffing caregivers with clients
- Entering and maintaining client schedules in the computer system
- Maintaining and monitoring Mobile Edge
- Communicating often with caregivers and clients about their schedules and staffing needs
- Ensure optimal utilization of authorization
- Enter and maintain accurate records in the system for clients, patients, and caregivers
- Match new caregivers hiring on with referrals that need to be staffed
- Be on-call for a week from Monday to Sunday, rotating with others in the department. While you’re on-call, you will be required to answer any patient or client calls and contact the nursing staff if necessary.
- Follow all company policies.
