Position Summary :
Premier Mortgage Resources (PMR) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistantto join our team! This role will support our Loan Officers and clients throughout the loan process, from gathering documentation to ensuring smooth and efficient loan closings. We are looking for someone who is coachable, highly organized, and eager to learn. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- MLO licensed
- Cannot originate loans in their name
- Cannot sign the 1003 (loan application) in their name
- Will assist Loan Officer with Loan origination, closings, conditions, marketing database, etc.
- Help assist in answering phones and meeting with clients as needed
- Data entry using MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; specialty software -BYTE and / or other mortgage origination software
- Documentation follow up and tracking (contacting borrowers, title companies, real estate offices, appraisers, lenders, etc.)
- Maintain marketing database
- Work with Marketing Director to prepare mailers, newsletters, and marketing materials
- Prepare loan application packages
- Maintain databases
- Additional duties may be assigned & required depending on the flow of your Team
Detailed Daily Work :
Loans Referred by Email - if you leave a client a voicemail and you want to send a follow up email - use the referred by template. This can be modified to send to clients even if you reach them on the phone and want to send them the link to apply online.Web apps will be imported by LOA. LOA will then pull credit and reach out to client.LOA to send E-consents and send credit repair email OR Needs List email once client signs e-consent. (use credit repair email template) LOA to follow up on any e-signs not completed on a weekly basis for ones that have not been signed.Needs List & wet sign email. Once e-consent received. LOA to send to client and then follow up until items received from client. Use new email template.Credit Repair - From direction from LO to send to client with password protected credit report (use credit repair email template) if the loan will need credit repairApproval Email - once approval received from UW - LOA to send client an email of approval - use templateLOA to prepare and have reviewed by LO Prequal letter to agent - with no address if only approved TBD and no Intent to Proceed sent out. To be sent as a PDF not a word docApproval Email - use email template to send to borrower and agent.LOA email selling agent to let them know that the borrower is fully approved by underwriting - if no contract yet ask the agent how close they are to making an offer. Let them know we can provide a prequalification letter whenever they are ready and a conditional loan approval once in contract. Let them know the loan type and the loan amount of the approval.Email Agents - Listing and selling agent updates on appraisal. DO NOT email listing agent completed appraisal but you can let them know we have it back. Email when ordered, inspection scheduled, inspection completed, appraisal inLoan status- email clients and selling agents - When we submit for final and when we have requested loan docsTBD-Suspends - LOA to work through suspended items with processing.Fast Trac- LOA to import items into the doc manager, run automated, ensure all TBD docs are in file. Provide cover letter either written by LO or LOA. If LOA has questions on income, cover letter etc please get with LO to review.Disclosure request - LOA to prep fee sheet, get title quote, MI quote and submit disclosure request. If ARM get the Lock Desk to complete margins, index, cap etc.Disclosure email - use template provided - email clients letting them know disclosures will be coming to them.Meet Customers face to face if needed to sign disclosuresLock Loan, Scrub File, Calculate Income.Assist LO and Processing in closing loans on time by managing trafficNotifying the Team when am Appraisal is needed to be orderedThis job is all about communication with LO, processing, agents and borrowers
