Traveling to 900+ units across multiple locations throughout Massachusetts.Lead and manage the onsite maintenance teamsConduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of apartment communitiesReliably handle emergency situations and quickly communicate issues to your supervisor and fellow team membersEffectively manage the apartment turnover processOversee selection and management of all maintenance-related vendorsManage capital projects onsite as needed including the bid process and project / construction managementAssign and coordinate daily work across sitesEvaluate and perform preventative maintenancePerform building repairs, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry work, light electrical, painting and basic appliance repairsMaintaining cleanliness of buildings, common areas and groundsSupervise the work performed by maintenance employeesLead, manage, and mentor the onsite maintenance teamsConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of apartment communitiesPosition Requirements :
HVAC certification is requiredValid driver's license requiredExperience overseeing 500-600 unitsPast experience managing a team of 10 or moreHands-on position (including indirect supervisory duties to a staff of 10 or more)Previous building maintenance / construction experience is preferredAbility to organize work and complete it in a timely mannerFederal and State inspections, NSPIRE / REAC experience preferredBudgetingManaging compliance with environmental hazardsAfter hours support for maintenance staff and sitesWe are happy to invest in your training to get you up to speed in certain areas of your position
