Extensive experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Databricks. Proven experience in data quality checks, customer data matching (fuzzy matching), and data validation frameworks. Strong programming experience in Python and PySpark. Solid understanding of SQL, SQL Server, and Vector Databases. Familiarity with Databricks AI foundational models and Genie is highly desirable. About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in data architecture, big data technologies, and cloud-based data engineering for one of our clients in the Energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can design and implement scalable data solutions while mentoring junior team members and collaborating across business and technical teams.
Key Responsabilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data modeling, data product design, and integration.
- Provide technical leadership and thought partnership in selecting, enhancing, and implementing data domain solutions.
- Partner with Enterprise Data Management to define and maintain data standards, policies, and governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers in data architecture and engineering best practices.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain internal control standards and ensure timely resolution of audit or regulatory issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
