The Solis Group is seeking a highly motivated Document Control Specialist for a rail construction project in Southern California. This individual will be responsible for the intake and management of documents received and issued by the project team. This includes but is not limited to correspondence, requisitions, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, data books, drawings, and specifications.
This will initially be a part time role at 16 hours per week, expected to ramp up to full time in the coming months.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Receive, distribute, monitor, and log all drawings and documentation
- Verify transmittals for every document posting
- Implement and maintain established document procedures
- Provide assistance to system users in locating information
- Perform document audits as needed
- Ensure all required signatures are included on documentation
- Assist with assembly of weekly and / or monthly progress reports
- Maintain databases of project / program information for use by the team and client.
- Manage, transmit and post drawing revisions to appropriate documents
- Respond to internal and external drawing and document requests
- Maintain drawings and document files
