Job Description and Duties

The Office Technician (Typing) performs a variety of important clerical functions for the Bureau of Investigation (BI), Special Operations Unit (SOU), Sacramento Regional Office. The incumbent will be required to communicate with individuals at all organizational levels, handle confidential information in accordance with established guidelines, creates and maintains various files, responds to incoming email, prepares materials for mass mailings, sort and routes incoming mail, assists with typing projects and reviews them for spelling, grammar, and punction.

Special Requirements

* The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. * The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
