Opportunity

Kaweah Healths Department of Anesthesia seeks an exceptional Regional Pain Anesthesiologist to join our innovative care team, performing over 1,700 regional procedures annually. You will work with a collaborative group of 10+ Anesthesiologists, 30+ CRNAs, and our ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program with over 16 residents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and advance Regional Pain Anesthesia services
  • Supervise and mentor residents, ensuring a robust educational experience
  • Provide anesthesia coverage in :

    • General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Trauma, and other surgeries

  • Labor and Delivery
  • Work Schedule :

    • 10-hour shifts on non-call days

  • One 24-hour call (out of house) per week with a post-call day off
  • Non-clinical days for core faculty responsibilities

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified / Eligible for Anesthesia
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Active California medical license
  • Strong interest in teaching and residency education

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate

    • $280 / hour

  • Up to $290 / hour (weekend / holiday stipends)
  • Estimated Annual Compensation $690k (55 hours / Week, 6 weeks of vacation)
  • Additional Benefits :

    • Up to $50k sign-on bonus (3-year retention)

  • Up to $100k student loan forgiveness (4-year retention)
