Snelling is hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication projects in Bryan, TX. With more than 30 years in the industry, we’re the only AISC-certified structural steel fabricator in Bryan. Our projects span commercial, residential, educational, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee multiple steel fabrication projects from start to finish. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of steel fabrication and construction project management who enjoys being involved at every stage.
Manage multiple steel fabrication projects from kickoff to completion
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources
Interpret and review architectural and structural drawings
Collaborate with internal teams for efficiency and accuracy
Handle project costing, billing, and invoicing
Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, drawings, etc.)
Conduct site visits and field measurements
Communicate with clients and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with AISC standards and industry regulations
3+ years of project management experience with a structural steel fabricator/erector
OR 2+ years with a degree in construction management, civil/structural engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and AISC certification standards
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
Experience with cost estimation and material take-offs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with STRUMIS or similar project management software
Knowledge of Procore, Viewpoint, or Corecon
Familiarity with steel connection design and detailing practices
Pay Range: $60, – $80, per year (based on experience)
