SAS Programmer

Job Description :

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a SAS Programmer in Albany, NY.

Description :

The consultant will establish templates for reporting performance metrics on integrated STI / HIV partner services outcomes in order to assure appropriate partner services outcomes; develop data to care quality assurance and outcome reports; perform quality assurance activities for surveillance and partner service data; and provide documentation including technical system documentation, user help and instruction guidelines. The consultant will provide measures required for grant reporting purposes.

Mandatory Qualification :

• Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and / or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his / her field.
• Advanced SAS certification for SAS v9
• 84 months of experience in using SAS, R, Tableau, and / or other statistical and graphical software packages for data management and analysis.
• 60 months of experience programming SAS / GRAPH, SAS / ODS, SAS / MACROS, SAS / SQL, PROC SQL, and PROC REPORT on a daily or weekly basis.
• 36 months of experience conducting data analysis for sexually transmitted disease surveillance programs, and experience with CDESS and MIS data systems.
• 60 months of experience in the development of SAS programming code for data requests, reports and analysis in a health department setting.
• A Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, in Science, Statistics or Epidemiology, or any related field of science.
