A fast-moving company is seeking an experienced, detail-driven legal professional to support a lean in-house Legal function. In this position, youll work closely with legal leadership and collaborate with partners across the organization. Your focus will span core legal operationsmaintaining company records, helping administer and track IP matters, managing and triaging incoming requests, and providing support across routine contracting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a centralized, searchable legal repository for contracts, corporate governance materials, and related records; ensure version control, accuracy, and easy retrieval across department processes.
- Serve as the primary intake point for Legal requeststriage matters, locate relevant prior work, route to appropriate stakeholders, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep work moving.
- Support contract operations and compliance by documenting procedures tied to contractual obligations and external / public commitments, assisting with periodic internal reviews, identifying gaps / remediation items, and preparing summaries for internal and external audiences as requested.
- Assist attorneys with routine agreement support (as delegated), including NDAs and standard vendor templatesgather business context, draft concise summaries, and suggest template-aligned language.
- Coordinate intellectual property administration, including tracking trademark filings / renewals and deadlines, managing related correspondence, partnering with outside counsel when needed, and documenting potential third-party misuse of company IP assets.
Qualifications
3+ years in a paralegal, legal operations, legal analyst, law firm, and / or in-house legal support role.Experience supporting an in-house legal department and / or a law firm practice, with familiarity coordinating across attorneys, business clients, and outside counsel.Demonstrated strength in multiple areas such as legal / corporate records management, contract lifecycle or contract operations support, IP / trademark portfolio administration, and contract compliance or audit support.Excellent organization, attention to detail, research capability, and clear written / verbal communication; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while handling sensitive information with discretion.
