Position Overview

As the Business Tax Strategist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all applicable U.S. tax laws and regulations. You will provide expert guidance on tax compliance issues, offer strategic assistance, and help mitigate risks associated with tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze U.S. tax law changes and assess their impact on our organization.
  • Provide guidance on tax compliance matters, ensuring the organization meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with tax obligations.
  • Identify and address tax-related risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on tax compliance and related best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide clear guidance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and other accounting tools.
