Priority1 is a non-asset-based logistics brokerage provider that introduces proprietary technology to small and medium shippers to aid them in managing their transportation spend more efficiently. We leverage our volume of over 1.5M annual shipments to create unique partnerships with asset-based carriers in the North American freight market. Our industry-leading technology and group purchasing power provides our customers with the necessary tools to control their freight and transportation costs while improving visibility into their distribution network.

Engage with LTL Enterprise support team to compile customer level shipment data and prepare large volume of LTL RFPs. Set price points on the RFP.

Extensive pricing negotiations with LTL carriers

Heavy Microsoft Excel work to analyze RFP results including pivot tables Vlookup custom formulas

Analysis of RFP results includes creative recommendations to sales on the best LTL carrier solutions that will help provide our clients with savings and quality service carriers.

Responsible for helping set price margins in conjunction with sales

Prepare data for client facing PowerPoint presentations

Responsible for implementing customer specific pricing programs in the Priority1 TMS ensuring that rates are correct and consistent with the expectations of the new pricing programs being implemented

After pricing implementation monitor results and communicate with sales to ensure that the customer specific pricing programs are meeting the revenue attainment % that were communicated to our partner carriers.

Negotiate annual carrier rate increases on existing accounts

Extensive interaction with sales including attending sales calls via Microsoft Teams. Able to communicate with key client decision makers as the LTL pricing subject matter to help sell Priority1.

Build relationships and trust between P1 and LTL partner carriers

Physical Requirements :

Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task problem solve and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications primarily on the telephone and email. Requires extended periods of sitting normal walking bending twisting and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required.
