Job Description

As an assembler, you will perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System and Safety Management System requirements. You will be responsible for assembling sub-assemblies, and installing accessory components. This role requires you to inspect products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer standards. This is a long term opportunity. The role is based in a manufacturing environment with a 1st shift schedule from 5 : 00 am to 1 : 45 pm, including a 45-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials.
• Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products utilizing lifting equipment when available.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and / or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components.
• Complete and maintain all associated electronic paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Complete additional tasks or projects as needed by the department.

Work Environment

The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material, and steel-toed boots are necessary but not provided. Safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety sleeves are provided to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
