[job_card.job_description]Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or shop environment Proficient in setups and operation of manual machines (vertical mills and engine lathes) CNC milling and water jet experience is a strong plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a Team Must have own tools Knowledge of various aircraft materials (metals, plastics, composites) Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Basic understanding of CAD / CAM software is a plus

VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a General Machinist / Water Jet operator for a leading organization in Rio Rancho
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Monday-Friday 7am - 3 : 30 pm Schedule
Pay for this position starts at $20 or more DOE
As a General machinist / Water Jet operator you will :
- Set up and operate vertical mills and engine lathes to produce precision parts.
- Operate and maintain water jet cutting equipment
- Perform accurate setups and ensure proper tooling for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as needed.
