Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop critical initiative projects in Authentication technologies under AUTH hub Security framework team, perform Senior Developer role
• Responsible for Develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions
• Responsible for assisting other developers and management with deliverables
• Follow strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and / or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
• Lead or has responsibility for estimation of effort for software application for one or more programmers
• Coordinate collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
• Provides expertise and technical guidance on issues of critical importance to achieving project objectives
• Recognized as a content expert by peers
• Implement security functions for client facing channels (including online banking clients, brokerage clients, trust clients and retirement clients)
• Lead development of a custom security framework to provide authentication and authorization functions to clients
• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions
• Application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies
• May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
• Serve as a fully seasoned / proficient technical resource
• May drive a project or a solution and partner with various external teams including external developers, business and deployment teams
