As a Security Professional in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to help to deter unwanted incidents within the property.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
