Job Description
The job requires skills in Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Apache Spark, Apache Storm, OOAD, and SOAP. The location is Cedar Park, TX, and the total experience required is 7 years.
The employment type is Direct Jobs (Full Time), and the domain is open to any. GC / CITIZEN can apply.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience with Hadoop development and implementation
- Good knowledge of Hadoop Architecture and HDFS
- Proven understanding of Horton Works Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Storm
- Ability to write MapReduce jobs
- Hands-on experience with HiveQL
- Ability to write Pig Latin scripts
- Managing and deploying HBase
- Parallel distributed processing based on the MapReduce paradigm with Apache Spark
- Experience with Java and shell scripting
- Experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration
- Good knowledge of back-end programming, specifically Java, JS, Node.js, and OOAD
- Experience writing to network-based APIs - preferably REST / JSON or XML / SOAP
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to the Big Data domain
- Strong experience of deployments and administration in Linux / Unix environments
