Maintenance Staff

Heritage Avonlea of Olathe is seeking a Director of Maintenance for our Assisted Living  Community. Health care maintenance experience. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and floor installation is required. HVAC experience is a plus.

Duties include :

• Repair / replacement of faucets, toilets, and pipes.
• Replacing / adding additional lighting to existing circuits.
• Installation of vinyl flooring.
• Drywall / painting.
• Monthly fire drills, smoke detector checks, water temp checks.
• Scheduling outside contractors when necessary.
• Fan coil unit trouble  shooting.
• Light kitchen equipment repair.
• Responds to and completes resident work orders, insuring the quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.
• General day-to-day maintenance .

This position is Monday-Friday full time with required on-call for emergency problems.

Candidate should be organized, outgoing, friendly, have basic computer skills, and have good communication skills.
