Purpose of Position

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is looking to hire an Accounting Summer Intern to work at our Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. This paid 10-week internship will start June 1, 2026 and run through August 7, 2026. EJM offers a flexible schedule conducive to a students' schedule with encouraged participation in company events throughout the Summer. 35-40 hours per week will be expected of each intern. A complete application and resume must be submitted to be considered. Preference will be given to local students in the Cincinnati area. This position was created for sophomore-senior status undergraduate students studying accounting.

EJM does not offer a relocation stipend for internship positions. Relocation for this internship would be the responsibility of the student.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage and complete department assigned project(s) in a timely and effective manner
• Collaborate directly with a department mentor; set goals and monitor progress
• Develop an understanding of the EJM operations, approach, methodology & tools
• Assist in month-end close - learn corporate reporting structure
• Receive and input vendor invoices; assist in auditing company expenses
• Input Travel & Entertainment expense information for aviation crewmembers and HQ overhead employees
• Ad hoc assistance with audit / compliance requests
• Learn and support AR cash application and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist with other special projects
