Quality Director
The Quality Director is responsible for RMC's quality management systems and programs. The QD has ultimate responsibility for directing and managing quality management, quality control, complaint investigation and closure, corrective action management, and document functions. This position must maintain full compliance with ISO and federal safety and quality requirements and maintain efficiency in the process and drive product quality improvement activities. The Quality Director will serve as the Management Representative for the Company's quality communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Metrology Lab, inspectors, and other workers engaged in quality activities and monitor work levels and review performance.
- Manage the overall quality direction of the Company and the effectiveness of the quality management system, including the ISO 9000 program.
- Take lead responsibility for significant quality issues. Be "hands on" with the issue, develop a plan to resolve the issue, communicate the plan and progress on the plan to the organization.
- Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.
- Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, management, outside vendors, and customers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in mathematics or engineeringMinimum 5 years of relevant work experienceFormally trained in ISO programsAnalytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings.Blueprint reading skills.Basic English Language Skills.Preferred Qualifications
