Experience : 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required

License : Valid nursing license required

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Experience in large urban hospitals.
• Experience with drips on all floors.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs.

Description :

Looking for clinicians who are flexible and innovation-minded.

The unit is an inpatient care unit intended to design, test, and validate new models of care, innovative technology, and facility design.

There are 17 patient rooms divided into zones.

Each zone tests various room designs, equipment, or processes.

The primary patient population consists of adult medical-surgical patients.

Future plans include transitioning to an adaptable care model encompassing Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care levels.

Labor and delivery or pediatrics are not included in the care provided.

Nursing practice follows a primary nursing care model, assigning one RN to a group of patients.

The nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 4-5 during the day and 1 : 5-6 at night.

Current projects include Virtual Nursing, Virtual Sitter, and Ambient Monitoring.

Other innovations involve an Interactive Patient Experience Platform.

There are various facility design variations including modular interior walls and UV sinks.

BLS is required, and ACLS is preferred.

Travelers must work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.

Weekend shifts include Saturdays and Sundays.

Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Candidates must be 100% nicotine-free.

Requested time off should be included at the time of application.

RTO requests submitted post-confirmation may be denied.

Laboratory tests must be completed within 48-72 hours from the offer acceptance.

All contracts must end on a Sunday.
