[job_card.job_description]Working knowledge of Information Systems security standards and practices (e.g., access control, system hardening, system auditing, log file monitoring, security policies, and incident handling) Experience of hands-on Security knowledge of one or more of the following platforms : Firewalls, UTM, Forward / Reverse Proxies, DDoS Mitigation, Log aggregation, etc. Strong knowledge of Azure Security controls and configurations Experience with on prem to Azure Cloud Migration Strong working knowledge of API Security
Responsibilities
The Cloud Security Engineer will :
- Manage, configure, and utilize network protection components (e.g., Firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, XDR, EAP-TLS / PKI, SOAR, SD-WAN)
- Manage and develop a team of employees including training, development, performance management, administration, and workforce planning
- Follow and audit, network and security governance policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide guidance to the engineering staff which aligns design and implementation to IT governance
- Support Breach and Attack Simulations
- Administer testing platform and work with vendor to ensure proper configurations / features are enabled and working as expected
- Perform firewall reviews of bank firewalls / other perimeter security devices, and create reports based on findings
- Research and develop skills personally and share insights with the team
- Perform other duties, as needed
