[job_card.job_description]Safe operation of equipment including mini-track loaders, compact excavators, trenching machines, track loaders, boring machines, pipe cutters, power washers, and hand tools. Safe operation or electrical diagnostic equipment including valve locators, multi meters, and fault finder tools. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and approval to drive on Company Insurance. Positive attitude, solid work ethic, punctuality, dependability. Adhere to company uniform and all safety policies. $16 - $20 hourly pay Company Subsidized NC BCBS Health Insurance w / Vision / Dental Option 40 hours (PTO) Paid Time Off annually. Position Overview :
This position provides an excellent opportunity for job training in Commercial Irrigation System maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist experienced service technicians with digging, trenching, and other labor production as needed.
- Loading and unloading of tools and materials as directed.
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with all aspects of commercial irrigation systems to ensure proper and efficient operation.
- Learn to program, diagnose, and repair irrigation control boxes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled work and materials used.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect needed equipment and materials each day.
- Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
- Safe driving of company owned vehicles with or without trailers to transport crew members to job sites.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned truck, trailer, and equipment.
- Some general administrative work as assigned.
- Use of company tech devices and platforms for communication
- Daily start up and shut down procedures.
- Maintain job quality as well as site relations and communication with clients, contractors, and / or sub-contractors.
- Communication with Account Managers and Production Managers about job progress and planning.
