CAD Designer - Swimwear & Women's Apparel

Description

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers to create and execute computer-generated graphics and prints across multiple brands in swim, sleep, and apparel.
• Develop original prints and patterns, as well as execute repeat patterns and colorways on purchased artwork.
• Design and execute all CAD-related artwork for collections, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
• Create and execute graphics for hangtags and packaging, ensuring consistency across multiple brands.
• Prepare tech packs for all artwork using computer programs and communicate with the overseas office to ensure accurate execution.
• Research and interpret trends, color stories, and print direction to develop seasonal collections tailored to each brand.
• Ensure high-quality print and graphic execution by working closely with design, production, and technical teams.

Competencies & Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in CAD, textile, or graphic design.
• Proficiency in Kaledo, Illustrator, and Photoshop (Ned Graphics and 3D software knowledge preferred).
• Strong knowledge of repeat patterns, color separation, and print production.
• Experience working across multiple brands and product categories, including swim, sleep, and apparel.
• Strong print and packaging design skills, with a solid understanding of branding requirements.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to learn and adapt to 3D software on the job.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.

Compensation/Benefits:

• The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience.
