Position Overview This role is ideal for a PA-C with solid general dermatology experience who is confident managing their own patient panel and values a balanced schedule. The position is primarily general dermatology (no surgery required).
- You will see your own patient panel with built-in physician collaboration
- Patient volumes are around 32 per day
Clinical Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive skin exams
- Evaluate and manage dermatologic conditions and lesions
- Diagnose and treat skin cancers and common medical dermatology concerns
- Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a supportive team environment
Team & Collaboration - 2 collaborating physicians
- 3 PA-Cs currently on staff
- Supported by a team of ~10 MAs
Schedule & Work-Life Balance - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, rounding, or call
- Excellent work-life balance
Compensation & Benefits - Guaranteed base salary: $120,000-$130,000 (based on 2 years of experience)
- Additional compensation: Percentage of collections
- Estimated total compensation: $160,000+
- PTO: 3 weeks
- CME: $1,500 allowance
- Malpractice insurance: Fully covered
Candidate Qualifications - Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or NP in the state of FL
- Minimum 2 years of dermatology experience required
- Strong clinical skills with confidence managing an independent patient panel
