As part of Schwab’s evolution toward a modern, cloud‑based data and analytics ecosystem, this role supports the expansion of our core cloud data platforms and enterprise data sourcing capabilities.

In this role, you’ll participate in the activation and operation of a centralized metadata and data sourcing platform that supports firmwide analytics, AI / ML, and next‑generation data products. You’ll partner closely with engineering teams, security and compliance partners, and external vendors to deliver resilient, scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment—while helping teams across Schwab turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Metadata Management, Engineering, and Strategy

• Drive the integration of SaaS‑hosted vendor tooling into a GCP‑hosted cloud application environment, ensuring designs are resilient and modular.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of metadata tooling, including access management, workflow orchestration, and data profiling capabilities.
• Partner with application teams, enterprise data producers and consumers, and external vendors to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and deliver cohesive data sourcing capabilities.
